The Story
My journey has taken me from Bulgaria to the United States, where I received my B. Arch from The Illinois Institute of Technology. Despite my background in architecture, my heart always remained with painting. My practice revolves around abstracted expression, where I use movement of lines and stillness of colors, tints and shades to reinterpret my surroundings. For me, painting is about capturing the essence of emotions and externalizing them onto my canvases. I refer to it as my bare layers of emotional truth.
